Performance Born Out Of Experience

In 2008 Adrian Woolcock (Managing Principal) launched ProSidian with a firm focus on client results through a culture where team dynamics, entrepreneurial spirit, and respect for the individual form the cornerstone of advisory services.  The firm's core offerings are aligned with the drivers of economic profit (growth, margin and efficiency), and deployed across the client's entire value chain.  These core offerings target different aspects of a client's value chain across the enterprise and at the intersections of assets, processes, policies and people delivering value.

Adrian began his professional career at Enron Corporation in Houston, Texas, after earning his B.A. in Business Management and Sports Management from Rice University in 1996.  From there, he earned an MBA in Finance at the University Of Houston Bauer College Of Business.

Prior to forming ProSidian, Adrian spent over sixteen (16) years in the Oil, Gas, Electric, and Utilities industry in the area of risk management, structuring, power/gas commodity pricing, energy trading/scheduling, purchasing, and special projects.

A former pipeline services company comptroller, trader, energy structurer, and chief industrial energy buyer, he has facilitated client engagements focusing on natural gas/electricity pricing, structuring and hedging, enterprise risk management, merchant energy mergers and acquisitions, and SOX 404 auditing.

With roles in business process reengineering at the Department of Defense, managing IT Audits at The Department Of Interior, and strategic engagements for Fortune 500 Clients while at KPMG, LLP, Adrian also worked as a Senior Manager in Ernst & Young’s Global Center Of Excellence developing solution sets and working as a SME on Risk, Compliance, and Business Process initiatives for large organizations in various industries.

Doing More Since 2008

In 2008, following a successful career in industry and after working as a Principal at SunGard, a national consulting firm, Adrian decided to take a new approach to consulting, relying on the best of what the big firms used to be known for – methodology, talent, results- and what newer, boutique firms do well - personalization, low overhead and flexibility, and a high degree of collaboration – to create a new hybrid consulting model.

When ProSidian began, the marketplace was in deep recession, however the members of the Firm gained prominent clients and soon national recognition handling major clients such as AstraZeneca - a global research-based biopharmaceutical company, Wal-Mart Stores Inc., Federal Deposit insurance Corporation (FDIC), The American legion, Miami-Dade County, and the City Of Durham, to name a few.

ProSidian expanded its practice with the addition of a Dr. Frankie Jones, a retired Air Force Colonel, and other experienced consultants from federal and city governments as well as various industry sectors such as Energy & Utilities, Banking & Financial Services, Consumer Products, Manufacturing, and the Federal Government.

We only undertake engagements where we are sure we add value and surpass client objectives -otherwise it is expensive for the client, costly in terms of time and destroys their brand as well as our own.

The Future Pathway

As the needs of the firm expanded, it decided to increase its national presence by opening offices in Washington, D.C.; and West Palm Beach Florida.  The Firm also greatly expanded its corporate capabilities by forming strategic alliances with greater corporate footprint and enhanced ability to identify resources.
